Maria João Nunes

Degree in Law from the Lisbon School of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal, 2013. Master’s Degree in Forensic Law from the same university, 2016. Bar Association traineeship concluded in 2016.

Joined Pereira da Cruz e Associados in 2014, focusing her activity on judicial, civil and criminal litigation in the field of trademarks and copyright. She also provides support in patent and design cases.

She is the co-author of articles in the IP field and has participated in various training programmes and conferences, including training on the General Data Protection Regulation and copyright and neighbouring rights.

She recently concluded the 1st Course on Intellectual Property Process and Procedural Law organised by the Portuguese Delegation of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), 2020.
